Grassfield Hall
Styled Shoot
I had been wanting to organise a styled shoot at the very impressive Grassfield Hall for a while and finally the opportunity came in May this year.
Grassfield is located on the edge of Pateley Bridge. A Grade II listed building which has 8 bedrooms, all spacious and luxurious with double height ceilings and sumptuous beds, individually designed marble en suite bathrooms and Jacuzzis with built in TV’s. The downstairs has high ceilings, traditional features and a grand double height hallway with checkerboard marble floor.
The shoot
The overall style of the photoshoot was modern, elegant and glamours. Portraits were planned to be captured in the luxurious bedrooms, within a bridal preparation set up, a styled area on the ground floor and outside within the impressive grounds.
The styling
Knotted in Love, a Yorkshire wedding planner and stylist brought my visions to life, as well as lots of amazing creative ideas herself and worked with the equally talented Kate at Berries Florist of Skipton to create a stunning wedding breakfast set up.
The dresses
The models wore beautiful dresses supplied by Sugared Almonds Bridal Emporium. Maggie Sottero is just one of those bridal designers they stock and we were lucky enough to have two of their stunning dresses to use for the day.
Hair and Make up
The hair was expertly styled by the very talented Samantha located at Pro HQ in Skipton, using beautiful accessories supplied by The Bobby Pin and O.M Makeup Artistry & Beauty worked her magic on the make up.
The Cake
My favourite cake designer, Rose Hill Cake Studio produced a show stopper!! – her cakes are simply the BEST
I made the front cover of a magazine AGAIN!!
Aspire Magazine chose one of the images from our photoshoot to be front cover of their bridal guide edition.
The magazine is delivered to 28,000 homes in Skipton, Settle, Craven and The Dales. The final image selected by the magazine company, from the full gallery was one of the beautiful Hanna, a previous bride of mine. I was privileged to photograph her real wedding reception last year, she is someone who following her wedding contuines being one of my absolute best supporters!
